How Eastward Tutors works

Eastward Tutors is a tuition matching service for the East of Singapore. Parents tell us the level, subject and area; we pass the request to an independent tutor or a tuition centre that covers it, and they contact the parent.

What it costs

Nothing for parents. Tutors and centres who take an assignment may pay us a fee agreed with them beforehand. That fee is never added to what you pay.

Where the information comes from

• Schools: the MOE school directory published on data.gov.sg: General information of schools (MOE).
• Locations and distances: OneMap (Singapore Land Authority) coordinates for each school and MRT station.
• Centres: public business information (name, address, category). Subject labels come only from a centre's own name or category.
• Rules and exams: MOE and SEAB pages, linked where they are used.
• Rates: SmileTutor: Singapore home tuition rates 2026.

What we do not do

We do not rate, rank or review tutors or centres, and we do not claim results for anyone. Listing a centre is not a recommendation.
