How it works
- Tell us the level, subject and area. P1 maths in Marine Terrace, A-Math in Tampines, PSLE Science in Bedok.
- We pass it to a tutor or centre that covers it. Home lessons, a centre near your MRT station, or online.
- They contact you. Ask about the rate, lesson length and a trial lesson before you commit.
Every area page lists the MOE schools near its MRT station (with the Mother Tongue languages each offers) and the tuition centres within walking distance, so you can see what is around you before you ask.

What changed in Singapore schools
- Since 2019 there are no weighted assessments or examinations in Primary 1 and 2: assessments still happen, but they are not counted towards an overall mark or grade. (MOE: removal of assessments for P1 and P2)
- MOE has removed mid-year examinations at every primary and secondary level, so the end-of-year examination and the weighted assessments during the year carry the result. (MOE: removal of mid-year examinations)

- Since the 2024 Secondary 1 cohort there are no Express, N(A) or N(T) streams: pupils are posted through Posting Groups 1, 2 and 3 and take each subject at G1, G2 or G3, and can move a subject up a level later on their results. (MOE: Full Subject-Based Banding FAQ)

- From 2027 secondary school ends with the Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC): each subject is examined at the level the pupil takes it (G1, G2 or G3), with English and Mother Tongue papers in September and the rest in October and November.
